What is Tumbling?
Tumbling is an exhilarating and dynamic discipline within gymnastics, often featured in cheerleading and occasionally in dance routines. It emphasizes acrobatic skills performed on a sprung or dead floor. Picture a seamless sequence of flips, somersaults, handsprings, and twists, executed with precision and grace. While it shares similarities with gymnastics, tumbling stands apart by focusing exclusively on floor routines, leaving out equipment like beams or bars.
In our tumbling classes, children learn to develop strength, flexibility, and coordination as they progress from basic moves like forward rolls and cartwheels to more advanced skills like backflips and aerials. It’s a fantastic way for kids to build physical fitness, discipline, and self-confidence, all while having a great time in a supportive and energetic environment.
