What is Tumbling?
Tumbling is an exciting and dynamic form of gymnastics, used in Cheerleading (and occasionally dance) routines, that focuses on acrobatic skills performed on a sprung (or dead) floor. Imagine a combination of flips, somersaults, handsprings, and twists—all executed in a fluid sequence. It’s similar to what you might see in gymnastics but is more focused on the floor routines rather than equipment like beams or bars.
In our tumbling classes, children learn to develop strength, flexibility, and coordination as they progress from basic moves like forward rolls and cartwheels to more advanced skills like backflips and aerials. It’s a fantastic way for kids to build physical fitness, discipline, and self-confidence, all while having a great time in a supportive and energetic environment.
